I am active in the 50 + class. I have a cpl of health issues so my workouts are modified. I love that I can do the same workouts as the other members in a different way. My trainer, Tam, is awesome modifying the workouts for us with different issues. Although she pushes us because she knows we can work harder and do better than we think we can she is also motivating.
I am new to crossfit and was a little intimidated to begin. Kia put me at ease when I shared with her some of my fears about crossfit. I started in December 2019. The coaches are truly awesome. They actually pay attention and give advice to get better. The workouts are challenging but eryone is so positive. I highly recommend CFBA I guarantee you will be welcome there no matter your fitness level.
I’ve been at CrossFit Bay Area for over a year and truly it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made toward my health. I was so sure I couldn’t do it as I’ve never been one for weights and using a bar. But I’m happy to say, I’ve learned and gained so much in a year. The people are great, and the coaches are so supportive. They make working out fun which was what I was missing trying to do it on my own.
